We also extended the exterior discharge line to allow for water to be discharged farther away from the foundation. To finish this job, we added an IceGuard attachment to the discharge line. IceGuard prevents basement flooding in the winter. Even when the normal discharge line is frozen, IceGuard provides a way for water to escape the sump and keep the basement dry!
