Beavertown, PA homeowners had a leaky basement wall issue. Liberty Basement Systems was recommended by a friend for the job. As soon as the customer contacted our office, an appointment was made with inspector Joe D for a free basement waterproofing inspection and quote. Upon a thorough assessment, Joe recommended an interior perimeter drainage system.
This customer was eager to have a dry basement and was confident that Liberty Basement Systems would meet his expectations. To solve this issue, our crew installed a WaterGuard Interior Perimeter Drainage System. Already having a sump pump system and basement dehumidifier, a custom solution was built to tie the WaterGuard to the customer's existing pump for water removal.
WaterGuard is installed around the perimeter of the basement wall floor joint to capture water at its source. Water drains down the wall and enters the system through open flanges. The water will then drain to the sump pump, where it will be removed from the home. When the installation is complete, concrete is used to level the narrow trench dug for the installation.
