In Allentown, PA a customer had water entering their basement. This was causing damage to the walls and floors. With already having an existing Sump Pump in place, he knew that he needed a professional to come in and access his wet basement problem. After calling Liberty Basement Systems, inspector Tyler H. went to evaluate the situation and determine what the next course of action should be to solve the homeowners water problems for good. 

 

Tyler suggested to the homeowner that WaterGuard Sub-Floor Drainage System would be the best way to solve his wet basement problems. In addition to WaterGuard, BrightWall Waterproofing Panels should also be installed.

 

WaterGuard is a piping system engineered to solve basement water problems effectively. This system will intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drains safely to the Sump Pump. BrightWall does not only provide a clean and bright semi-finished wall, but it will stop water vapor from seeping through the basement walls. Any water that makes its way through will run down the BrightWall and will drain to the WaterGuard System. The water is then carried to the Sump Pump and removed from the home through the Exterior Discharge Line.

The best way to get rid of any water entering the basement is to install a full perimeter WaterGuard Drainage System and the TripleSafe Sump Pump. BrightWall Paneling System is also a major component to waterproofing this basement. 

 

The BrightWall paneling system will be installed throughout the basement walls. These panels will stop water vapor from entering the foundation walls by allowing the water to run down the backside of the panel through the flanges on the WaterGuard Drainage System. They are 100% waterproof, and because they are fastened mechanically to the basement walls, they can never be pushed off by moisture that seeps through. Once the water drains into the WaterGuard System, it will unseen and safely be drained away to the TripleSafe Sump Pump. WaterGuard is a patented piping system that intercepts water at the perimeter of the basement. This system is most effective and reliable way to solve wet basement problems.
