Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: 1890's Basement Waterproofed in Northumberland, PA

This old basement was letting in a lot of moisture through the floor and stone walls. We were able to waterproof this space by installing a FloGuard Drainage System, TripleSafe Sump Pump, TrenchDrain, and CleanSpace Wall System. This basement is now dry and better yet, protected! The homeowner is so excited to have a dry basement!

Water Coming In

One way water was coming in this basement was by the stairs that led to the Bilco doors.

Moisture was also accruing on the walls and the floor's perimeter.

We Got to Work

We installed a CleanSpace Wall System to manage any moisture on the walls. We then began installing the FloGuard Drainage System to take care of the water on the floor!

Basement Sump Pump

We definitely needed a trustworthy sump pump, so we installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump System! This system comes with three pumps in an airtight liner, a backup battery, and a WaterWatch Alarm!

TrenchDrain

We also added a TrenchDrain at the entry point. This will help keep water from flooding the basement, even when the entryway door is open.
