Water had really taken its toll in this basement.
Waterproofing Begins
We put in solutions to keep it waterproofed. The CleanSpace Wall System is made of an extra durable, bright vapor barrier. This system captures water seeping from the walls and sends it to the drainage system. We also began installing the WaterGuard Interior Drainage System.
Sump Pump
WaterGuard is installed beneath the floor in order to collect any water seepage at the floor/wall joint. This system is nearly invisible once fully installed. We also installed a SuperSump Plus sump pump! This sump also contains a WaterWatch Alarm to alert the homeowner if the power goes out.
IceGuard
We put measures in place to ensure this basement stays dry year-round! IceGuard is attached to the drainage line to ensure water can always escape the sump, even if the normal discharge line is frozen over.
