Initially, this Mercersburg, PA home faced severe foundation troubles. The heavy rainfall had caused the basement wall to push in, creating a significant water entry problem, as evident in the 'before' image. This basement would flood anytime it rained and the walls were always wet as well. One of the foundation walls was in need of some extra support as well. We waterproofed the space by installing a TripleSafe Sump Pump, WaterGuard Interior Drainage System, and CleanSpace Wall System. The foundation wall was stabilized with a PowerBrace System!

This foundation wall had a horizontal crack and was beginning to bow. The homeowner was very concerned about this, so she reached out to us. We solved her problem with CarbonArmor Straps. These black straps are made from fiber-reinforced polymers. The straps are adhered to the wall and anchored to the floor joists with ArmorLock brackets, effectively stabilizing the wall where it is. 

This homeowner is so glad that her foundation is now secure!
