After this Trevorton, PA homeowner contacted us, our office scheduled a free sagging floor repair estimate. Upon visiting the house, Tom B. determined that the sagging floor was due to inadequate support beneath the floor joists. A repair plan was recommended by Tom to reinforce the support and raise the floor back to its original position. A permanent solution was to install support posts directly under the sagging kitchen floor in the basement. Installing the posts would help to spread the weight more evenly across the floor, preventing the sagging that was occurring. Additionally, the posts would help to hold the floor in place and provide additional strength and stability, which would prevent further sagging in the future.
