Don R. of Paxinos, PA noticed that his basement wall was bowing. He didn't want this to become a bigger issue and knew he needed a professional to help solve his problem. After some research, Don decided that Liberty Basement Systems could help him fix his basement wall once and for all. An appointment was set for Inspector, Aaron Lenker to assess Don's basement wall.
Aaron decided the best course of action to correct the bowing wall was to install Wall Anchors, using The GeoLock Wall Anchor System. The production crew used an excavator to dig a channel on the outside of the home, alongside the basement wall. From there, galvanized steel earth anchors were embedded into the soil, and connected to steel wall plates using steel rods. The rods run through the soil into the inside of the basement wall. The inside wall is then secured by the wall anchors. This method is engineered to stop wall failure permanently and performs in any soil type.
