After seeing a Liberty Basement Systems ad online, this Coplay, PA customer called our office. The customer stated she had water entering her basement and was causing many problems. Appointment Center Manager, Lee Bertovich scheduled a free estimate with inspector, Tom Badman. Upon completion of the inspection, Tom had the solution to this homeowners basement water problems.
The major components of this homeowners waterproofing system included the installation of a TripleSafe Sump Pump, WaterGuard interior basement waterproofing system, CleanSpace Wall System and an Exterior Discharge Line. In addition to these products, a WaterGuard Port would be installed along the WaterGuard for easy access to the system, IceGuard to prevent floods from frozen discharge line, and a custom Electrial Outlet for the TripleSafe Sump Pump. With these products combined, this homeowner will never have to worry about water problems in their basement again!
A homeowner in Allentown, PA contacted our office after seeing an ad online. They are in the process of selling their home, but they want to address their wet basement problems before moving forward. Water is seeping through the block foundation walls and is causing their basement to become wet with high levels of humidity.
Buyers expect a dry basement when looking to purchase a home. In fact, buyers view your home with a wet basement as a fixer-upper and they will pay your 10-20% less than otherwise! That's a lot of money...Moral of the story is, fixing your wet basement is a lot cheaper than not fixing your wet basement.
To fix these homeowners wet basement problems, this is how we would do it. The best way to get rid of any water entering the basement is to install a full perimeter WaterGuard Drainage System and the TripleSafe Sump Pump. BrightWall Paneling System is also a major component to waterproofing this basement.
The BrightWall paneling system will be installed throughout the basement walls. These panels will stop water vapor from entering the foundation walls by allowing the water to run down the backside of the panel through the flanges on the WaterGuard Drainage System. They are 100% waterproof, and because they are fastened mechanically to the basement walls, they can never be pushed off by moisture that seeps through. Once the water drains into the WaterGuard System, it will unseen and safely be drained away to the TripleSafe Sump Pump. WaterGuard is a patented piping system that intercepts water at the perimeter of the basement. This system is most effective and reliable way to solve wet basement problems. Once the water is drained to the TripleSafe Sump Pump, it will be pumped out of the home at a safe distance through an exterior discharge line.
Jim D. of Orefiled, PA noticed mold coming through the wall of his finished basement. To see where the problem was coming from, Jim removed a portion of the drywall. After exposing that area, He noticed a crack in his foundation wall, and water was trickling through. The frame had become moldy and was water damaged. To try and find a solution for his wet basement problem online, Jim saw an ad for Liberty Basement Systems. After watching the ad, he contacted our office to set up his free in-home estimate. Appointment Center manager, Lee Bertovich sent inspector, Tom Badman to do the assessment.
After Tom finished his evaluation of the basement wall, he decided that having Aaron Lenker install WaterGuard System, BrightWall Crack Repair using a Hydraulics Cement to fill the crack, a 4ft sheet of BrightWall Panel, and to treat the area with Mold-X2 cleaning treatment. Aaron removed the remaining portion of the surrounding drywall that was affected and applied the Hydraulic BrightWall Cement to the crack in the wall to stop water from coming through, and sprayed Mold-X2 cleaner over the moldy areas. Over top, Aaron installed BrightWall Panel and fastened it to the wall. IF water vapor would make its way through the crack, that would bead down the back of the panel and into the WaterGuard Drainage System. From there, the water would be unseen and safely drained away.
The customer was extremely happy with how the repair turned out! He certainly won't have to worry about a leaky basement wall or mold growth anymore!

In Whitehall, PA, a homeowner faced persistent high humidity, moisture, and mold issues in their crawl space, affecting their comfort and potentially compromising their home's structural integrity. Our team at Liberty Basement Systems was called in to provide a reliable, long-lasting solution. Upon contacting us, the homeowner was promptly assisted by our Customer Care Specialist, who scheduled a detailed home inspection with a System Design Specialist. During the inspection, we identified that the excessive moisture issues stemmed from inadequate insulation and venting in their crawl space. Our proposed solution involved the installation of our comprehensive CleanSpace® crawl space encapsulation system. We began by laying down the CleanSpace® Drainage Matting, which was carefully cut and installed across the crawl space floor. This significant step ensured optimal water conductivity to the perimeter drainage system, providing a drier environment right from the foundation. Next, we applied the CleanSpace® liner, a robust 20-mil liner with antimicrobial properties, across the crawl space walls and floor. This created a durable moisture barrier that effectively enclosed the entire area, protecting it from potential mold growth and structural damage. To complete the transformation, we installed the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, which maintains the humidity level below 55%. This unit helps prevent mold and eliminates unwanted musty odors, making the home’s environment healthier and more comfortable. The result was a striking change from a damp, problematic space to a clean, dry, and functional crawl space. This upgrade not only secured the home’s structural integrity but also contributed to improved air quality and reduced energy bills, reflecting Liberty Basement Systems' commitment to remarkable customer service and enduring solutions.
