Ivery M. of Albrightsville, PA had water entering her basement every time it rained. The water was seeping through her cinderblock foundation walls and into the drywall. She was noticing more water seepage that was causing her walls to become soggy with mold growth, and musty odors lingering into the upper levels of her home. After searching the internet for a local, trusted, and professional basement waterproofing contractor, she found Liberty Basement Systems and thought they would be the perfect for the job!
Shortly after giving them a call, an appointment was set for inspector, Robert Whary to evaluate the basement water damage. After the inspection, Robert decided that having Liberty Basement Systems production crew install WaterGuard Drainage System, a TripleSafe Sump Pump, an Exterior Discharge Line, and a SaniDry Sedona basement dehumidifier will permanently stop her basement water problem. Mold XP cleaner will be used to remove any mold growth from the walls.
WaterGuard is a perimeter drainage system that catches any water that enters the basement and drains to the TripleSafe Sump Pump. The Exterior Discharge Line is connected to the Pump, and the crew drills an opening from the interior of the basement to the outside of the home. From there, a trench is dug to place the line that will carry the water away from the home. The SaniDry Sedona is a top-notch basement dehumidifier that also connects to the TripleSafe Sump Pump. Any moisture in the air will be pulled into the dehumidifier and drain into the sump pump. The water that is collected from the WaterGuard and SaniDry Sedonda Dehumidifier will drain to the TripleSafe Sump Pump, and through the Exterior Discharge Line and away from the home. One the job is completed, the crew will use Mold XP cleaner to spray on the walls to rid the basement of mold growth.
