Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulated and Supported in Freeburg, PA

This dirt crawl space was in need of some help. It was having a lot of moisture issues and as a result, the floors in the home had begun to sag. We lifted the sagging floors and supported the weak beams by installing SmartJacks and Metal Beams. We took care of the moisture and humidity issues with a CleanSpace Encapsulation System and SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. Moisture will no longer be a problem in this crawl space! The homeowner can rest easy knowing their crawl space is now dry and structurally sound.

SmartJacks

We supported the sagging beams with SmartJacks and Metal Beams. SmartJacks effectively lift sagging floors back up to where they need to be. SmartJacks are built to provide lasting support.

Drainage Matting

We installed Drainage Matting on the dirt floor. Drainage Matting makes the ground softer to crawl on, but it also helps to prevent water from building up underneath the vapor barrier.

Encapsulated

A CleanSpace Encapsulation was installed over the Drainage Matting and stone walls. CleanSpace is a 20mil thick tear-resistant liner. CleanSpace seals out moisture, outside air, and pests.
