Photo Album: Crawl Space Access Well Installation in Boiling Springs, PA
After watching a Liberty Basement Systems TV commercial, this Boiling Springs, PA homeowner contacted our office to schedule a free in-home estimate for their crawl space. Inspector, Jeff P. was the crawl space repair professional to complete the inspection and provide the customer with an estimate. The customer wanted to have an easier access system into their crawl space. Jeff P. decided the best solution for the crawl space was to install a crawl space access well.
Jeff decided The Turtl is the best product for the job. The Turtl is a crawl space access system that is designed to provide a clean convenient access to your below-grade crawl space. Crawl space access wells are often ugly and deteriorated and let in rain, leaves and other debris. The Turtl is made of rigid plastic so it will never rot! Not only is the Turtl strong and durable, but they look great on your home, have a secure lockable lid, and come in 3 different colors! For this job, the customer choose the color brown.
In order to install the Turtl Crawl Space Access System, Jeff and the customer agreed that a new point of entry to the crawl space would need to be made. By doing this, the production crew would remove a section of the outside wall that leads to the crawl space. Since the homeowner wanted an easier way to access their crawl space, they decided on a safe and designated location for installation. After explaining the installation process of the Crawl Space Entry Well, the homeowner couldn't wait to see the final product!
Outside production manager, Aaron L. and inside production manager, Jeff P. were the crawl space repair professionals for the job. The area that the Crawl Space Access Well System would be installed was located under a small deck on the side of the home. To install the Turtl, a small section of the deck was removed to gain access to the area where the Turtl will be installed. Next, tools were used to carefully remove a precise measured section of the outside crawl space wall to create a new entry way. The Turtl was installed in the new opening of the crawl space, and tightly secured to the wall. Before backfilling the area with the removed soil, a final "crawl" through was performed to make sure all components were working as they should without any complications.
The homeowner was very happy with the outcome of their new and easily accessible Crawl Space Entry Well.
