Photo Album: Wall Repair using The PowerBrace System and Wall Anchors in Paxinos, PA
These Paxinos, PA homeowners noticed that their basement wall was bowing inward. After coming across one of our Ad's, they contacted our office to see how we could help. Once they met with our inspector who discussed our installation process, the homeowners were eager to have a Wall Anchor System in place to prevent their basement wall to bow any further.
An excavator was used to dig a trench on the outside of the customers home. From there, galvanized steel Earth Anchors were embedded into the soil away from the basement wall. These anchors were then connected to the Steel Wall plates that were installed on the inside of the wall. This is done by drilling a steel rod through a one inch hole in the basement wall/foundation, and is connected to the Earth Anchor that was installed on the outside of the home through the trench. Once the installation of The Anchor System was complete, all components were connected and tightened to permanently stabilize the basement wall. The outside trench was then backfilled and regraded.
The homeowners are happy to know their home is now safe and stabilized!

GeoLock Wall Anchor System Installation
This anchor system is engineered to stop wall failure in it's tracks, and performs in ANY soil type. Our crew is trained to drill, cut, and level this system in area's that have limited spacing. In addition to the anchors permanently stabilizing foundation walls, the galvanized steel components give a clean appearance to the customers basement and will never rust.
