Time vs Quality; Which is Worth the Wait?

Time vs Quality; Which is Worth the Wait? - Image 1

We live in a society where we thrive on instant gratification. We want things newer, we want things faster, we want things, well, now. You're starving and at your favorite restaurant. There's a twenty-five minute wait, but you could easily go next door and be seated right away, the trouble is, it's not your favorite restaurant, and the food isn't quite what you want, and it's a little pricey. It's only twenty-five minutes. What do you do?

If you go across the street to the other restaurant you could easily be seated, have something to eat, solve your hunger issue, but could face having less quality food and a higher bill. If you wait just twenty-five more minutes, at a restaurant that is your favorite, where you know you enjoy the food, and your quality is guaranteed, you know you will be leaving satisfied, and your hunger pings will be gone. What is it worth to you?

Twenty-five minutes isn't that long, you decide. You've stood in longer lines at checkouts. The point to this scenario is, like many things in life, good things come to those who wait, because they are worth the wait. Instant gratification and being in a hurry and believing you need something done as soon as possible, doesn't mean that it is in your best interest to have it done right away. Waiting for your favorite restaurant, and your favorite meal when you are starving isn't the worst thing that has ever happened, right?

If a waterproofing company has a lot of available openings for inspections and installation dates, perhaps that means not many homeowners are calling for them to fix the issue? A great waterproofing company tends to have a lot of business, they consistently have appointments and projects scheduled. That means a wait time is almost certain, but it also means that you are waiting for the company that does the best job possible.

When it comes to an important household commitment, you don't want to throw your money away by hiring the contractor who can come out within the hour. The chances that you will end up having to hire another contractor to fix what the first contractor did grow by 50 percent! Having to wait a short period of time for your inspection, or your installation ensures that you are getting the best possible value for your time and your dollar.

Remember, good things come to those who wait. You don't want to go to a restaurant for a delmonico and end up with a over cooked sirloin at a delmonico price. You surely do not want to entrust your home to a contractor with too much availability, and a cheaply made product.

Trust us, we are worth the wait!
